There are some weight loss stories of there that just blow my mind. Meet Christina Carter, 28, and she has one of those stories and then some. It all started 2 years ago when she was 275 pounds. All her binge eating was costing over $2,000 a month so she knew she needed a lifestyle change. She got gastric sleeve surgery which helped drop 50 pounds and then she hit the gym for the next 100.
My favorite part of this story is that her boyfriend at the time 2 years ago enjoyed her fat. He prefered it. So when she started shedding all this weight, he got jealous. So what did she do? She lost his weight too and said see ya. Now she looks 10/10 and probably has a much better selection of men.
I found this little gem in my drawer the other day: my 'before' swim suit. Same suit. Just not 100 sizes too small anymore. You have to learn to embrace and love the struggle. When you do this, your new lifestyle changes become your habits. Your habits help you form the new version of yourself.
