Fly Ball Bounces Off Center Fielder’s Head, Flies All The Way To Left, And Turns Into A Double Play

I’ve watched this video a hundred times and I still have now idea exactly how this happened.

When a fly ball was hit to short center field, the outfielder runs towards the ball in an attempt to catch it. In an un-athletic turn of events, the ball drills him in the head.

However, instead of making a thud and falling to the ground, the ball flies right back into the air and shoots over to left field. The left fielder makes the snag and turns a double play at second on the runner who didn’t tag up.

My question is, what the hell is this kid’s head made of? He just hit the ball further with his head than most kids can hit it with a bat.

Check it out.
